Gethin Lewis

Principle Consultant and Founder

As the founder of Kingfisher Consultancy and Strategy, Gethin is a highly experienced senior Programme Director and business leader with twenty-five years of experience specialising in the execution, integration and delivery of complex IT and combat systems for the global defence, aerospace and commercial sectors.
He is a high impact and business savvy executive and with Business, Project and Engineering Management expertise.
He has a proven reputation and a track record of delivering tangible results and has established a reputation for reliably delivering complex customer programmes that are tailored to the Mission requirements having forged trusted relationships with UK MoD and leading Industry Primes and that are affordable, timely and deliver the Mission objectives. He has managed and led large diverse teams of engineers and subcontractors for some of the most prestigious defence projects including the F35, QE Class aircraft Carriers, Merlin, Type 45 Destroyer and Eurofighter Typhoon and has current SC clearance.
He thrives in challenging leadership positions that draw on his strong engineering and IT background to engage business potential. Coupled with a flair for finding enterprise advantage through collaboration and partnership and is driven to get the best from teams with energy and enthusiasm to achieve business growth and repeat business. A champion Digital Transformation initiatives and he is a passionate advocate for diverse and inclusive teams to deliver tangible results for any business.
Gethin has worked with many and varied organisations including MoD, DE&S, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Thales, Royal Mail, Qinetiq, Accenture, Hensoldt and CapGemini.
He is fully qualified in AgilePM, Earned Value Management, Executive Coaching, Change Management, AgilePrince, Neurolinguistic Programming, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Advanced Capture Excellence, Programme Management Institute, Customer Relationship Institute.
